Gudy ("biz"), YouTube videolarını arkadaşlarınla eş zamanlı izlemeni sağlayan bir mobil uygulamadır. Bu politika, Gudy'yi kullanırken hangi verilerin toplandığını, nasıl kullanıldığını ve haklarını açıklar.
Topladığımız veriler
- Hesap bilgileri: Apple veya Google ile giriş yaptığında sağlayıcının ilettiği hesap tanımlayıcısı, adın ve (paylaşmayı seçersen) e-posta adresin; ayrıca uygulamada seçtiğin benzersiz @kullanıcıadı.
- Profil fotoğrafı: İstersen yüklersin; sunucularımızda saklanır, istediğin zaman silebilirsin.
- Sohbet mesajları: Oda sohbetindeki mesajlar gerçek zamanlı iletilir ve sunucularımızda kalıcı olarak saklanmaz. Tek istisna: bir mesajı şikâyet ettiğinde, şikâyet edilen mesajın metni, oda kodu ve ilgili kullanıcı adları moderasyon amacıyla kaydedilir.
- Engelleme listesi: Engellediğin kullanıcı adları, engelin çalışması için sunucuda tutulur.
- Oda durumu: İzlenen video, oynatma konumu ve üye listesi yalnızca oda açıkken sunucu belleğinde tutulur; oda kapanınca silinir.
Konumunu, rehberini veya cihazındaki diğer verileri toplamayız. Şu an uygulamada reklam ve üçüncü taraf analitik aracı yoktur; eklenirse bu politika güncellenir.
Verileri nasıl kullanırız
- Hesabını oluşturmak ve oturumunu sürdürmek,

- Şikâyet ve engelleme araçlarını çalıştırmak, topluluğu güvende tutmak,

Üçüncü taraflar
- Apple / Google girişi: Kimlik doğrulama, seçtiğin sağlayıcı üzerinden yapılır.
- YouTube: Videolar YouTube'un resmî gömülü oynatıcısıyla oynatılır; oynatma sırasında Google'ın gizlilik politikası geçerlidir.
- Barındırma: Sunucularımız Hetzner altyapısında çalışır; tüm trafik HTTPS ile şifrelenir.
Saklama ve silme
Hesabını uygulama içinden silebilirsin (Profil → Hesabı sil). Silme talebinden sonra 30 günlük bekleme süresi işler; bu süre içinde tekrar giriş yaparsan talep iptal olur. Süre dolunca hesabın, kullanıcı adın ve profil fotoğrafın kalıcı olarak silinir. Moderasyon kayıtları (şikâyetler) topluluk güvenliği için makul bir süre saklanabilir.
Çocukların gizliliği
Gudy 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir ve onlardan bilerek veri toplamayız.
Değişiklikler

Privacy Policy

Gudy ("we") is a mobile app for watching YouTube videos together with friends, in sync. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the provider's account identifier, your name, and (if you choose to share it) your email address; plus the unique @username you pick in the app.
- Profile photo: optional; stored on our servers and deletable at any time.
- Chat messages: room chat is relayed in real time and not stored permanently on our servers. One exception: when you report a message, the reported message text, room code, and the usernames involved are recorded for moderation.
- Block list: the usernames you block are kept on the server so blocking works across sessions.
- Room state: the current video, playback position, and member list live in server memory only while a room is open, and are erased when it closes.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or other data on your device. The app currently contains no ads and no third-party analytics; this policy will be updated if that changes.
How we use data
- To create your account and keep you signed in,
- To provide synchronized playback and chat in rooms,
- To operate the report and block tools and keep the community safe,
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Third parties
- Apple / Google sign-in: authentication is handled by the provider you choose.
- YouTube: videos play through YouTube's official embedded player; Google's privacy policy applies to playback.
- Hosting: our servers run on Hetzner infrastructure; all traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). A 30-day grace period follows; signing back in during that time cancels the request. After it expires, your account, username, and profile photo are permanently deleted. Moderation records (reports) may be retained for a reasonable period for community safety.
Children's privacy
Gudy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will publish them on this page.
